Michael has worked regularly on Radio for over 25 years. In the 1990s he worked in London with Adrian Bean and Jane Morgan on productions such as "Beau Geste" and "Our Mutual Friend" then working closely with Nigel Bryant at BBC Birmingham he played leading roles in many Classic productions including Alec D'Urberville in "Tess of the D'Urbervilles"; Macduff in "Macbeth" (with Tim McInnerny and Harriet Walter); A A Milne in "An Expotition to the North Pole" and Hugh de Morville in "Assassins".
In 1997 Michael joined the cast of the Archers and has played Ambridge vet Alistair Lloyd ever since.
